The Continent of Tarr

I love color and creativity in my home.  Here are some of my expressions…

On my 16^th birthday I was on the dance floor inside a night club in Florence Italy.  It was so exciting.  I was with my best friend and her 16^th birthday was the next night.  I was wearing this dark terracotta dress.  It came to my ankles, but when I spun, it flared straight out.  The front had tiny buttons up to the v neck.  I was having a great time on the floor, spinning around…..when……all of a sudden ……it happened…….. all the buttons gave loose at once…… and I was not wearing a bra!  I grabbed the dress shut and ran to the table.  There was a group of American women at the next table. One of them got my attention and  started rummaging around on the inside of her shirt.  Ta da!  she pulled out  a safety pin.  “You need this more than me”, she said, laughing as she handed it to me.  I was good to go!
